Personal data
WISP requires no account and collects no personally identifying data. Play sessions (anonymous answers and feedback on the recommendations) are recorded solely to improve the engine, with no identifier that could be traced back to an individual. The server's technical logs temporarily retain connection IP addresses, for security and the proper running of the service. Audience measurement, where present, is carried out without cookies.
Cookies
WISP sets a single cookie, named “NEXT_LOCALE”, which remembers your chosen language so it doesn't have to ask again on every page. It holds nothing but “fr” or “en”, stays on this site, expires when you close your browser, and is used for neither analytics nor advertising. As such it counts as a tracker strictly necessary for the service you requested and does not require your consent (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act) — hence the absence of a banner. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings: the site will carry on working and will simply infer the language from your declared preferences. Audience measurement, for its part, uses no cookies at all.
Affiliate links
The “See the price” links point to Instant Gaming and carry an affiliate identifier: a purchase made after such a click earns WISP a commission, at no extra cost to the buyer. WISP is not affiliated with Valve, Blizzard or the publishers of the games it recommends.
Artwork
Game covers and artwork come from the public Steam and IGDB CDNs and remain the property of their respective publishers.
